Bellingham Assisted Living Home offers the following Activities and Facility’s
- Full range of social activities and accessories such as cards, bingo, games, puzzles, crossword and word puzzle magazines.
- We have a subscription to newspapers and magazines.
- Outdoor seasonal vegetable garden and flower garden.
- T.V. in common areas with cable package for viewing by everyone.
- Large video movie library.
- Large book library.
- All bedrooms have beautiful quality furniture.
- All bedrooms have electric adjustable beds with hand held remote controls.
- Private TV / VCR in each room with full cable package.
- Private phone line in each bedroom.
- Home is wheelchair accessible.
- Spacious, tiled walk-in shower.
- All medical equipment owned and supplied for free use for residents. (I.e. electrical hospital beds, trapeze lifts, electric lift recliners, over bed tables, wheelchairs, walkers.)
- This facility has an office area to facilitate resident needs. (I.e. doctors, nursing, faxes, correspondence, and copying.)
- Open and flexible visiting hours at any time by family.
- On bus line, and easy off street parking for resident transportation and visitor parking.
- We are located just a couple of blocks away from Bloedel Donovan park on Lake Whatcom. (You can see the lake from the front yard!). There are regular events at the Community Center at the park.
- Also, less than a block away are trails for walking, bicycling, birdwatching, etc.. Trails connect to Whatcom Falls Park, which has ponds, forest area, picnic spots, fishing, trout hatchery, etc..
